MediaPalette can help you
with your video project. Perhaps your end-product is an
advertisement or infomercial. Maybe you want a documentary, or an
educational, or fund raising video. Or do you want us to produce a
music video or short independent film? Depending on the type of video
you choose and its purpose, there are a number of production decisions
that need to be made. Is your video carried by voice-over narration, or
by candid interview dialogue? Are there scripted actors, or no
words at all? Is it driven by graphic and text images, or a combination
of all of these elements? We'll collaborate with you to reveal the
answers to these project-framing questions, and then provide you with a
product that matches your vision. |
| The mission of MediaPalette is to accommodate your
informational and artistic needs. Some of the elements we can add to
your production include digitized photos, dynamic text, music and sound
effects, and basic logo animations. We can incorporate a wide-range of
video and audio filters, including a film grain filter that simulates
film when slightly slurred, or black & white instead of color. We can
create a punchy driving piece, or one that moves with grace and finesse.
Whatever the feel and tempo, we will try to match your mission. Whether
it is a traditional or conventional look, or something far-out and
fascinating, maybe involving humor or going for an emotional appeal, we
will craft an audio-visual product to meet your expectations.
We can shoot and edit conference
presentations and break-out sessions to help you document and
disseminate your mission.
Finding the answers to all of these
questions at the start of the MediaPalette process is the key to
minimizing cost and production time. The more clear you can be
about your objective, the easier the smother the production. We
can help you fill in the blanks by brainstorming with you to get your
vision out in the open and explore all creative options with you. You
may choose to be detached from the process, only getting involved at key
points, or you may want to select every shot and determine it's
sequential placement. In this case, we'll provide you with VHS
tapes of the camera original footage. The footage will have a
burned-in timecode window which you will use to mark the in-point and
out-point of the shots you choose. For example, you might want to
insert a shot that starts at timecode 3 minutes and 22 seconds on the
tape and goes until 3 minutes and 51 seconds on the tape. This
selected shot would therefore have a duration of 29 seconds. You can
write the voice-over script if you like, or we'll write it for you. You
can piece together interview sequences that tell the story,
and then select visuals to go over the spoken dialogue. Whatever
you want to do, we'll work with you to make the process as simple and
straightforward as possible.
We use the Panasonic AG-DVX100P 24
frames per second digital camera, incorporating
high-precision optics, full manual control, and features found only previously
on top-end professional gear. |
